Anywhere, Everywhere Stories - Monday thru Wednesday @ 10 AM Created for children ages 3 to 8, the Anywhere Everywhere Stories are a collection of tales from around the world and your own backyard - a blend of traditional tales and contemporary stories woven together with captivating storytelling. Join us for a fun and interactive storytime experince.
The Bridge That Brought Us Over - Thurs. & Fri. @ 10 AM, Sat. @ 2 PM Storytellers Veronica Byrd and Bert Tanner will delight and educate young minds with fascinating and important stories in African American History – a timeline that spans from Africa to present day. This insightful production touches on the middle passage, slavery, the emancipation, the Harlem Renaissance, Civil Rights, the 70’s and present day. Rhythmic music ties each piece together. Kids (ages 5 to 13) will be amazed as they celebrate the accomplishments of African American History. This is true Edutainment!
Performances are February 19-25 at YEA's new home theatre in East Point (click here for directions). Shows are Monday through Friday at 10 AM, and Saturday at 2 PM. Tickets are only $10 ($5 for schools, daycares and groups). Call the office at 404.756.2184 regarding group sales.
